Wyatt has to do everything big bro does...so let's look under the t.v. for our car!

Finn being an angel and showing Wyatt the farm animals at the pumpkin patch!

We love our Nani!

There was no way we were buying this pumpkin.

We planted pumpkins this year and this is Finn's in the growing stage!

Ready to harvest just in time for Halloween!

Cute I am.

Finn's class took a field trip to a local farm and he had the opportunity to hold some 9 day old chicks. He was very gentle and extrememely responsible. Ever the rule follower.

Mmmm....pumpkin.

Look out Anne Geddes.
Or as Finn likes to say, "Wyatt pooped a pumpkin!"

Batman with muscles and pink hair!

August 2009

I know, I'm not great...but I am trying to catch up now! So here's some highlights from August.
Another budding book lover!

Finn and Luke on Finn's birthday...what a nice package of boys.

I eat live crab.

Finn turned four this August! Pizza party at Santino's, Finn's favorite restaurant, with some of his favorite people.

Getting ready to blow out the big 4!

Wyatt loves the pool, but will hardly let us hold him...he'll be a swimmer!

July 2009

Finn and Parker...such great friends.

It is so nice to be able to bathe the boys together!
(Finn 3y 11m, Wyatt 8m)

Our Cayucos Vacation

Once we got the right set up, we were catching tons of sardines,
sometimes as many as five on one cast. That's fun fishin' for kids!

Thar she blows!

Movie night!

Dig, dig, dig.

Sweet Jakey...

Luke waitin' for a bite.

His belly is bulging from the ridiculous amount of sand
he shoveled into his mouth.

Mmmm......sand.

This is Finn and his shark face at Pirate Days at the Ventura Harbor...argh!

Go Spidey!

We're still totally getting our money's worth out of our costume. Go Spidey!

Finn recently changed his lifelong goal from being a police officer to wanting to be a musician in Michael Fronti's band... this is his favorite Michael Fronti t-shirt. He wants the band to live with us at our house because he might miss me too much if he lives with them.

Aaaahh!!! Duck face!!!

Okay, so when I came out of Wyatt's room I found Finn washing bottles. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was washing Wy's bottles so I didn't have to. How thoughtful and sweet can a three year old be? He got one ready and filled it up with water to 6 oz. so it would be ready and waiting for me when I needed it later. What a great brother!

Finn likes to dump all of Wyatt's toys around him to be helpful.

This is Payton. Finn has already announced to his class that he will marry her. He has also decided that she will marry Devon, and Devon will marry Lily. Finn will have three wives and they will all live at my house apparently. When I asked him if they would miss their moms, he said no because I would be here, and I am a mom...and I'll take care of them and I make really good food. I am also to buy car beds for all of them and have their moms over for dinner on weekends. Problem solved. He's got it all figured out.

Whee!

What a good lookin' dad! Happy Father's Day...Hubba Hubba!

Harvest time!

Dinner!

Thanks for the Batman backpack Nani and Grandpa!

Wouldn't it be great if the crooked smile stayed?

Finn feeding Wyatt...

I wish I could remember who gave us that party horn so I could thank them.

I think sometimes the running comes dangerously close, although in this video it is pretty safe. It seems that we are sometimes just one laugh away from a head injury.

Mmmm...sweet potatoes.

Yay for good food!

WARNING: This may be a little long/boring/uneventful for those of you who are not grandparents of the child in the starring role. Proceed with caution.

buzz buzz

Just one last clip of swimming progress...he's even better now. This clip is a week or so ago at the end of swim school. He has been practicing like a maniac in our neigborhood pool and is really making amazing progress!

The Next Michael Phelps...

So this is what he looks like on day 6 of swim school. This is a kid who would not even go under water 2 weeks ago! Mean Marjean the Swimming Machine...you are a miracle worker! This was the first time I had seen him swim in the deep end... I was clearly far more amazed than he was.

Special thanks to Grandpa and Grammy & Bapa for
babysitting W during swim school....xoxo

See my tooth?

Finn and friends Parker and Katie at the beach.

Mother's Day Weekend at Nani's...
the cousins, from left, Johnny (6), Luke (3y 6m), Finn (3y 9m), Jake (1y 9m).

Poor, sick Wyatt... thankfully Finn is a pediatrician.

Look at my two cuties...Wyatt above at 5.5 months and Finn below at 4 months!
